Dr. Klautzsch is a native Oregonian, and a graduate of the renowned UC Berkeley School of Optometry in Berkeley, California. Dr. Klautzsch is a member of the American Optometric Association (AOA) as well as the Oregon Association of Optometric Physicians. Dr. Klautzsch’s special training has earned him the title of “optometric physician”. He is licensed to provide comprehensive medical eye care, short of surgery. As an optometric physician, Dr. Klautzsch can treat eye diseases and prescribe eye medication when necessary. Additionally he has experience with pre and postoperative care of patients with cataracts, as well as the new eye surgeries like RK and Laser that correct nearsightedness or myopia.
